Bake It Happen – Raising Money For Metastatic Research

Today begins the fourth and final full week of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As we begin to dial back the “pink faucet” of ridiculousness, I want to share a fun campaign that raises money for the Breast Cancer that kills – Metastatic Breast Cancer. All you need is an email address, an oven, a camera, social media platforms and then Bake It Happen!

History

It all started 5 yrs ago when two sisters, Shari and Stacy began this innovative campaign in an effort to help end Metastatic Breast Cancer after the passing of their mother Judy who lived with MBC for 6 yrs. They felt this honored her memory perfectly as Judy was a talented baker in her own right. Each dish was prepared with care and served with love.

How Does It Work?

It’s super simple. You go the Bake It Happen website then follow the simple directions! Sign up for free and get the 3 featured recipes, Bake, Share on Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter. Every time you post or email a picture of your baked treats to Bake it Happen, $5 goes to The Cancer Couch Foundation for Metastatic Breast Cancer Research! It could NOT be easier!! When you post to your social media accounts you must remember to use the hashtag #bakeithappen so your posts can be found. You’ll not only be helping to raise money for research but your friends and family will have very happy stomachs (unless you’re like me and the taste testing goes a little too far.)

Baking not your thing? Don’t worry, you can go HERE and make a donation directly to The Cancer Couch Foundation. Remember, every donation made to The Cancer Couch is matched so $5 is really $10 and $10 is really $20 and so on.

There are nine days left….what are you waiting for???

GET THE RECIPES & BAKE!

Every time you share a photo,

Facebook: @ubakeithappen   #bakeithappen

Insatagram: @bakeithappen00    #bakeithappen

Share your baked goods (virtually too).

BAKE IT HAPPEN WILL DONATE $$ TO
